It was actually this past weekend, but I finally got around to hardwiring the new GPS I received for Christmas. Next up, tinting the front windows and a bluetooth head unit.
I ended up with the OEM pads that Socco recommended and calipers, rotors, and brake hoses from Advance. I spent just over $250 for eveything. I'm not sure if it's still good, but I used the Advance promo code "VISA" and got $30 off of every $75. Grouped the parts, cleaners, and fluid together...
I used Rustoleum satin black on the roof racks, the cowl, and the bumper cover over a year ago and they still look like the day I painted them. :artist2:
I'm sitting on perch 3 with a differential drop and have no problems, but mine is a DD/beach machine. My CV boots did rip shortly after lifting, but I stretched the new one's when I installed them and I haven't had any issues.
They are the replacements from the recall work that the previous owner had done. That said, I don't know how many miles are on these coils. Check out my photo album; there are a few pics of how it sat before I installed the lift.
Thanks,
JB
