I like it on my 2015 trail
My 2 cents. I installed the CBI receiver a few months ago.
I was a bit nervous about the CBI because of the need to remove the bumper cover and the required trimming. Turns out those weren’t big issues. Removing the cover was no problem, many posts about that...
I'm in NJ and bought a 2015 regular Trail (not premium) in Feb. Other than the sales tax the only other major fee I recall is that they require you prepay the first 4 years of registration. Also a $1.50 tax per tire.
At least when I bought mine the bigger issue was low inventory of 4Runners...
