I posted on January 5 when I performed this fix. I'm following up to say that it has 100% worked. It's April 23 and I have never experienced the black screen since. Thanks again.

I did this today on my 2015 Ltd. I was having the intermittent camera problem for a few years. Recently it has been off for a week so I came here looking for help. It's fixed for now (Jan. 5, 2026). We'll see if it lasts. Thanks!
