Steering Wheel Vibration in 2017 5th Gen

Resurfacing this issue as the latest posts I could find were from 2012. I'm having steering wheel vibration issues that I don't think have anything to do with the tires, alignment, or rotors. I have a 2017 TRD Off-Road Premium (NO KDSS). At about 20k miles I put on some 275/70/R17 BFG KO2's...

    roof rack weight limit?

Well it’s nice that i’ve never actually heard of a problem with weight on the roof from anyone thats loaded a racked 4Runner. Despite Toyotas recommendation I ordered my Gobi stealth rack and am looking at a Tepui RTT purchase next spring. I’ll take my queue from the bazillions of people who...

    Accessorides auto start, bought one.....

I got an email back today. Accessorides were really quick about responding. Basically I was told that the vehicle is supposed to unlock to bypass the alarm system. I suppose everything is working fine. I guess just don’t be alarmed to find that your whip unlocks for a few seconds before it starts.

    Accessorides auto start, bought one.....

Thank you for checking nglayton. I must have a buggy unit. I press lock on the keyfob 3 times and all my doors unlock, then the vehicle starts, then the doors return to the locked position. I’ve contacted accessorides about my issue. I’m waiting for a reply. I’ll post back when there’s news.

    Accessorides auto start, bought one.....

Why does the remote start unlock the vehicle?? Does anyone else who's installed this kit notice that between pressing the keyfob 3 times and the vehicle starting that it actually unlocks all your doors? Do your units do this or is it just mine??

    KDSS fuse on NON-KDSS 4Runner

I was fuse tapping my rig for a dash cam today only to discover that I have a KDSS fuse on a NON-KDSS TRD Off-Road. I used that fuse for my ignition source wire but thought it may be prudent to check with the brains on T4R to see: 1. Why that fuse exists on NON-KDSS rigs (the limited apparently...

    KDSS Light on Non-KDSS

There is a KDSS fuse in my NON-KDSS TRD Off-Road as well. The fuses are also in the Limited’s so it seems having the fuse itself doesn’t mean anything. I tapped into mine for my dash cams ACC.

    school me on 85 octane

I made a mistake So i've pretty much stayed on the west coast my entire life. Regular gas over here (california, oregon, washington) has always been 87 Octane. I recently traveled away from the west coast on a road trip and without realizing it at the time put regular (which in this state was...

    roof rack weight limit?

Roof weight limit on 2017 TRD Off Rd Premium So i've read a lot of conflicting information about what the weight limit on the roof of the 4Runner is as i've wanted to add a rooftop tent and the only limit I can find in regards to weight in the 4RNR manual says 120 lbs max. I decided instead of...

    Tire Chains

The only reason they cannot be used on the front tires is the break line issue. Even if you have extra links on the inside and you cut or chain them you will still always run the risk of breaking a link on a chain and having it wack around inside your wheel well cutting any lines it comes in...
