Anyone ever rebuilt a ADD system unit?

On the oil sender, have you removed it to see if it the tiny hole has junk in it? On the alt's. Are they from a parts store of Toyota? I've had bad luck with toy alt's from parts stores.

Is the switch bad or is it just because of a broken key? I have taken a paper clip and strightend it out and made a very slight bend at the end and fished several keys out of switches. As for changing it out... I just got a '91 and the plastic around the switch will come off, it just clips in...

I know that's right... They just have to keep building them houses where the few places were! I use to go down there between Hwy 66 and Rowlett rd.

Have you checked craigslist yet? Lots of stuff on there. I think I myself would go to the dealer for that part.

Hello Turbo, I feel your pain. I was rebuilding a '86 turbo truck back in 1999. (Pre DSL) took me two years to find the manifold that the turbo bolts to. Where are you at on this now?
