Got my new dash installed today=) Letter came about a month ago, which blew me away, because I have been disgusted about this dash issue for going on 3 years now. I bought this one at a non-dealer used lot, and the dash started cracking soon after :/ This is my third T4R, my last one went...

Tried to open rear hatch, and nothing. Went straight to my trusty forum, saw write ups on total elec failure, motor failure, bad wires, resetting ecu, etc. but not much about getting the hatch open, so here goes: I opened the little trap door from inside, looking for some kind of mechanism...

Easy Fix! Thanks TXT4R! Wish I had found this thread sooner : ) Trimmed the yellow tape and black sheathing back an inch, used a blue Scotchlok, it easily slipped into place among the other wires, easiest fix ever! Its a little thing, but a BIG thing! Thx!
