    basic 4Runner questions.

I ended up choosing a Limited after 5 years in a BMW 550i x-drive with the twin turbo V8. I would be prepared for a starkly different daily driving experience. It took me about 4-6 months to really get used to it. It was also about that time when I started modding and getting into it's...

    Intake suggestions

In my experience, you'll need a hi-flow exhaust (Borla, Gibson, etc..) to go along with the CAI to really get the best results. I have the AFE Momentum GT and ran it with stock exhaust at first, then added a Borla. The difference the two make combined is very noticeable. Separately, not so...

    Exhaust?

A quick heads-up on the Borla Touring. I towed a drift boat (very light weight w/no motor) from Denver to Montana for a fly fishing trip, about 8 hours each way. The Borla was about 6 months old at the time and was sounding great. No issues at all. Less than half way to MT it started getting...

Nitto Ridge Grappler C & E Load Help

I switched from e-load K02's to c-load RG's (285/70/17) and wish I would have started with the RG's. The e-loads were super harsh around town and just way too hard/rough for everyday use, even when aired down to 28-30. The c-load RG's are MUCH nicer around town and have been excellent off...

Rock Sliders: thread plate or not?

RSG all the way Flat with kick-out has been awesome for me. The top plates helps keep "some" of the snow/slush/mud/crap from hitting the doors, but it really helps as a step for kids, wives and reaching or loading stuff on the roof.

Car Theft Prevention ideas out there???

The vehicle can't be stolen from using the remote start as it shuts off as soon as you open the door, and they key fob is needed for restart.

Must have (Cheap) accessories for your new 4runner!

Another +1 for this light. For a multi purpose shop/garage light, it's awesome.

    Scratched rear hatch advice?

Somewhere on here a member made a "limit strap" for the rear hatch so it wouldn't open all the way and interfere with a Batwing Awning. Same principle for the garage door. I looked at doing it myself but decided on just using pipe insulation on the parts of the garage door that would hit the...
