Well, I found it. Power Steering pump bolt had back out and started smacking the pulley.

I'm getting a chain rattle, tin beer can tapping sound upon acceleration from a stop or upon braking. In drive with foot on brake and reving it's happening too. Just started tonight so no time to poke around yet, do your best folks... 97 Limited. Happens in 4wd and 2wd. Reverse too.

Definitely looking at aftermarket lights. the harness for those old rectangular ones is there, but I'm also not afraid of running the wiring myself if needed.
