I just completed a 3500 mile round trip from CO to NY to tow my 1959 Land Rover back to her new home. :) Since I had no driveshafts in the Rover yet, I just used a tow bar instead of a trailer. The Rover weighs about 3K lbs. My first tank I forgot to put higher octane in the tank and filled up...

Err, nope. It's 2.54cm/inch so it's 27.56 inches, or 2 feet 3.56 inches.
