I just want SAFETY. It's for a 16 year old driver. I've taken it to 5-6 different shops and I don't know why they don't want to work on it. I think the rust thing is just so unfamiliar here that it isn't common for them. Or, maybe they're lazy. :)

Near the passenger side rear tire, it is really bad. You can literally push your fingers up and it's soft. Took it to a new mechanic yesterday. He thinks needs to switch out entire frame. This kind of makes me nervous but I guess it can be done. The rest of the truck is in such good shape...

3rd Gen w rust We bought a really cool 3rd gen but unfortunately has the rust. Everything else in great shape. Only 144k miles. In central Texas, car shops don't want to deal with this...they aren't used to it. As much as we hate to let it go, afraid might be best option. How do we go...
