Photostory of my 4Runner in Colorado

Nice Pics!! I especially like the shot used during "The End". I like how the Runner is out on that ledge looking over that valley. I was out in Keystone back in July. Great scenery. We did the Deer Creek/Sts John offroad trail. I'd love to see CO in the wintertime.

Finally did the most important mod anyone on these boards can do.

Nice in-dash screen. Just don't do what this NBA player did! NBA Player Watching Porn, Drunk Before Crash

    Rattling noise from front wheel

Is this normal? Or is it something I should have checked out?

    Rattling noise from front wheel

Today, on my way to work, I noticed a strange rattling noise coming from the front driver's side wheel area (the kind of the sound rattling metal would make). It seemed to only happen during left turns, and only when I'm in 4WD. I tried replicating it during right turns and while in 2WD and it...

    05 4Runner vs. 06 4Runner Crash!

Whew...glad to hear that nobody was hurt. What a weird coincidence that 2 4Runners (or any 2 of the same vehicle for that matter!) were involved in a wreck together.

Welcome! I agree with several things that nated05 said...good to see another St. Louisan, and you definitely gotta do the powdercoated rims...they look great with your color. Now slap a t4r sticker on your ride! I've yet to see another one while driving around StL.

    Aftermarket GPS

sbbama- Boy, you're definitely more confident in your wiring skills than me. I took the simple route and used one of those "add-a-circuits" that plugs into an ACC slot in the fuse box under the dash (got it at AutoZone for like 8 bucks). I actually prefer for my GPS to only be powered when...

    Aftermarket GPS

Sbbamafan- On the black panel above the passenger's feet, there's a hole for a heating duct...that's where my power and antenna wires enter into the area behind the panel. I then used velcro to hold the new cig lighter and Garmin power plug/speaker in place. Unfortunately, it's not a set-up...

Thanks Sharp. I saw in your Nuvi thread that you suctioned to the area below the hazzard light switch. I tried that position too, but for some reason, I coudn't get it to stick well there....kept falling off. I think it was a combination of the suction cup for the Quest being kinda small, and...

    Aftermarket GPS

Garmin Quest I have a Garmin Quest. Its a great unit, and it does everything I could need. And it's priced reasonably too (I found it online for about $250...and that was last summer). The standard Quest mounting option is a suction-cup for the windshield. But I absolutely hated it being up...

Runner getting NEW Nittos as we speak

Faster - Your truck looks great...almost identical to mine (except I have removed my running boards). Your pic has convinced me to go blackwall-out on my next tire purchase. Obviously not a decision that needs to be made with the Nittos though... Did you buy a 5th tire for your spare? I...
