    air filters

TrueFlow filters are pretty sweet! I noticed a HUGE gain when I put my intake on. They also clean better than any other filter on the market, and breathe well too. Check out the demo at TrueFlowFilters.com Brett

Yeah, The 99+ bumpers have that 2-3" buldge in the middle, where as the 98-older are a straight type bumper. Thanks for making that clear though!! Brett

    3rd Gen Bull Bar--Pruduction ?'s

It is a hollow tube. It's in with all the galvanized pipe. In my store, it's down the sprinkler isle. Wow, I sold this truck 6 months ago...and this make me miss it. I just did another setup like this on my Sister's 01 Runner...and it looks just as good! Jason, if you read this, I'll get you...

    3rd Gen Bull Bar--Pruduction ?'s

OH! Well, there is a bar with a Nut in it (Hard to explain) welded inside that tube about 1/2" or so....and the bolt goes through to that. Brett

    3rd Gen Bull Bar--Pruduction ?'s

See, that's what makes this so easy...there's no custom fab work needed. It's literally the pieces of pipes (which act JUST as a spacer), longer bolts, and then the mount plates that come with the bullbar. That easy. If you follow my original post, it tells you step by step what to do. Brett

    3rd Gen Bull Bar--Pruduction ?'s

Well, It's been on my truck since I posted, and it hasn't moved a bit. You need to realize that the pipe that I used isn't a "small" sized/gauge pipe. I can sit my 195lb ass on it, jump on it, etc, and not have any problems.... It doesn't get in the way at all of anything, and it is plated...

    cleaning mass airflow sensor

Actually, CNC now makes a MAF cleaner. It is safe, and doesn't leave any residue. I cleaned mine, and noticed a slight increase in milage. I got it at Checkers...right next to the electronics cleaner. Brett

Anyone remove the flares on a Sport?

if you take them off, let me know your price, as my sister wants flares on her SR5. She's jealous of my limited all one color thing. she has the chrome bumpers. yuck!

02 instrument bulbs? 194? too big...

I'll take some pics of my bad ones tonight, and post it up. I wish I had a 96-98....I just spent $20 for 4 bulbs at the dealer. I searched for hours, and couldn't find anybody that sold the bulbs. Not even any online vendors. It kinda sucks, but oh well.

    Blacked out third brake light?

take out the lens, and take it to a paint shop if you're that worried about it. They can match it to your cars paint, and it would look great! Also, if you take out the bulb, It would probably illuminate the brake dummy light to tell you it's out. I think.... Brett

02 instrument bulbs? 194? too big...

The bulbs are not anything that you can find on the internet or at walmart. They are not 192, or anything of that nature. They have a toyota type base, that clips into the cluster. The CC are even smaller bulbs. I just bought 4 bulbs for my climate, and spent $20! I changed my interior to RED...

    1999 wiring question (yes..i searched)

Or, you could get a toggle switch, attach one side to the brake wire on the alpine, and ground the other side out. Then, you can watch while driving...I do this for NAV purposes only, of course.

What Air Filters are you guys using?

TRD = AFE Filter AFE = different colored gauze filter (K&N knockoff) TrueFlow = Foam Filter. More air than stock, and about the same airflow as gauze filters, but it actually filters way more/better than any filter out there!! TrueFlow = Only way to go. Brett

    new part issues

you might try pulling the battery for 10 minutes. That will reset the ECU, perhaps something is going on with the added air coming into the engine. Also, make sure your MAF/MAP is connected, and make sure you didn't damage it when you re-installed it with the intake. I know if you unplug that...
