Picked up a 2012 w/21k miles today!
At a fair used price.
Must be a clean vehicle. I'm in northern IN/southern MI but not afraid of a road trip.
57k miles on one owner (private sales rep). 5k mile oil changes up to 20k then every 10k.
Toyota site and carfax confirm. Traded in on new Infinity so no warranty of any kind.
Decent price. $4k better than some with 20 -30k.
Am I worried about nothing?
I'm in the same boat (looking for a newer 4Runner). Most dealers want as much for a year old vehicle (sometimes 2 y/o) with 10-20k miles as I can buy a new one for.
And many ask as much as for one with a basic package as one with a premium package, and many can't even tell you which one it has...
I've lurked here long enough to determine that my next family 4WD will be a 4Runner instead of a Jeep, which has been my go to 4x4 for many years (not counting pickups).
I've already learned a ton from this site, and figured I'd say hello and THANKS!!!
