    no heat blowing at idle

Sorry about the late response…lol With the engine cold, pop the radiator cap and check the radiator for coolant (add as needed). If it’s not low in the radiator and you have had a god level in the reservoir then you likely have a weak pump or partially plugged heater core. Sent from my iPhone...

    New England B.S. Thread

Thanks… The first Gens are just a bit bigger than the 4th Gen 4R’s, and it’s very noticeable. Comfort, room, cargo space, and the bullet proof 4.7 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do with your 4runner today?

Just saw this post, wanted to mention my install of a similar unit. I have the Jensen CAR1000. I ended up needing an extension for the backup camera leads because the logical spot for the camera was in the rear spoiler at the top of the hatch. Standard leads were 2’ too short. Sent from my...

What did you do with your 4runner today?

I picked up a set on Etsy, seller said his were universal. Basically you just center the decal on the window, trim all around. It’s a Sequoia, but this same decal would work for a 4R as well.

    BigNuge's 2003 T4R Build Thread

Thanks! It’s about to get its first real test, my annual bird hunting trip up in the NMW, we head up there in a few weeks. A week of trails, crawling, good times. That said, I am wrapping up the swing arm tweaks today, hope to get a coat (or two) of paint on by the end of the day. Sent from...

Found a great write up: 2UZ-FE V8 Timing belt replacement

Yeah, these new-age electric impacts are awesome. I’m partial to Milwaukee, but respect the Makita & DeWalt tools as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    BigNuge's 2003 T4R Build Thread

The first two years of the 1st Gen Sequoias didn’t have a manual center diff lock. The only way the center diff would lock was if the xfer case was in low, and the transmission was in 1st gear. The diff lock mod simply adds a manual switch/relay combination to ground one lead and power...

Well, got wrapped up with phase 1, took it out on a short shake-down cruise. Wrapped up with phase 1 by doing the center diff lock mod, anytime mod for rear camera, VSC/TRAC cancel mod. Some shots of the trail cruise... I have since mounted my hi-lift onto the roof basket...

Time to get back at it....spent a few days up north ice fishing and having fun in the snow. Pissed me off that the Sequoia isn’t ready, so I’ll be all over this thing after work this week, and this upcoming weekend. Working on being ready to roll by next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tackling Timing Belt Job on 4.7

I’ve done this on my old 03 4R, and now on my current build (02 Sequoia). Not a bad job at all. Like others have said, plan on removing the radiator to give yourself room to work. Definitely do a coolant flush at that time (just prior to the timing belt job). I did a Gates serpentine kit at...

You know, I skipped right over these wheels at first. But after a fitment issue with my first pick I went with these as a replacement, and I’m glad I did! I like them a lot, they really go with the rig. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
