FWIW I installed these exact speakers in the rear doors of my previous vehicle( 2011 Tacoma). Honestly I felt like it was a waste of money. I even had an aftermarket HU pushing it, which typically puts out more power. When I traded the vehicle I took out the entire stereo except for those db651s.

I had a similar issue. Turns out that two of the clips that hold the brake pads in were getting into the rotor. Simply had to locate them and bend them a little with needle nose pliers. Problem solved.

Same issue here. 2005 v8 as well. Gonna get it recharged. Will post results.

FWIW I paid, proudly, $17.4k for an '05 Sport 4wd, granted it only had 63k miles. I think you may have a good deal there, again, just make sure all the "buttons" work. Good luck.

IIRC, Sockmonkey no longer makes decals. Prior to owning my t4r I had a Tacoma and frequented tacomaworld and was interested in his decals but for some reason I believe he stopped selling them, unless that has changed.

For what it's worth, I bought a Tacoma new in 2011 and had all the service performed at the Toyota dealership I purchased it from. I have since traded it in at said dealership. When they listed it on their website for sale, they also posted a link to the carfax, which did not show anything...

My vote is the 23rd. I have had my truck for less than three months and have been dying to get her a little dirty. Having no experience in offroading, I would prefer to have someone around who knows where they are going and how to get there. I am freaking pumped though. Again, my vote is the 23rd.
