why not a lunchbox locker like an aussie or detroit? my aussie was $230 took me like an hour and a half to install and has never let me down yet. i daily drive it and got a little over 50k out of my last set of tires.

I had a high idle problem after wheeling for a while. it ended up being my cruise control cable came out if the groove that it sits in on the throttle body.
I was wondering this. let's say I have replaced my front axles maybe 12 times on the same 4runner. but I have only purchased 3. two from O'Reillys and one from autozone. they still have a standing lifetime warrantee. what's to stop someone on here that needs a new axle to just pull theirs off...
I think it's to keep ice from forming in the IAC in colder climates. it doesn't control idle at all. you can bypass it and you won't notice any difference in the way your vehicle drives.
