My father is selling his 2018. Only 13800 super easy miles. Too much truck for him at 82 years old. Has a couple of small scrapes on the bumper and fender flare from backing out of the garage. Otherwise excellent and as well maintained as such low miles allows. No sunroof.

I'll send you a revised V6, no stamp any more. The logistics of replacing 100+ caps has gone about 95% smoothly... looks like You are in the 5%.

The front shock is internally very similar to the Tundra TRD Pro Bilstein. Here is a picture of the Zone Controller from a TRD shock that I dissected a couple years back. It only lacks the rebound top-out of the 8112.

80.3 is the low side, some Toyota units measure up to 80.9. The width is within spec.

For those that want to check older units, I'll be posting some measurements asap. I only had two known leakers, and they both came from the later batch. If your unit has been installed, and you are clean and dry, you are good to go. If you have a V6 Cap without the V 6 machined in, have yet to...

That is junk. The thread run out there is absolutely horrid and I'm embarrassed that it made it out of my hands. You need to do nothing. I will be sending properly machined units out asap.

I may request some caps back, but only from those that don't mind repacking and placing a prepaid label on it. Everyone will receive a brand new complete unit. No one, as of yet, has asked for a refund.

Sorry for the slow reply... just catching up. I only have two reports of leaky/seepy caps. Yes, this is likely due to the o-ring groove being machined too deep and too wide... Not many have this issue, but there is a chance. The thread was not properly back cut to eliminate the thin section...

Thanks for the understanding! I will only treat others as I wish to be treated. Not all will leak, but many will have that thread issue. The machine shop has agreed to replace. As info becomes available, I will share it.

You are looking directly at the ring when viewing the bearing from the back side, it looks like the seal. It is not inside the bearing.

I realize it doesn't look like it, but they pop out just fine. This one is from a Tundra, there's no seal lip on it, the bearing retains grease through the seals on the housings... Or more appropriatly, keeps the bad stuff out. Find a way to make an outer C or knuckle that will accept/mount...

Yes, it is the newer magnetic type, but it can still be removed and swapped. If we could find the manufacturer of the ring, that would be even better. The complete stock unit bearing could also be employed.
