Interesting, thanks. I keep hearing mixed reviews on removing them. A guy at work said he busted some of the nubs on the base cover pieces but he may just not have been careful. I guess I'll have to give it a shot myself and see what happens.

Did you have to remove them to get them powder coated or just drop the whole vehicle off? Been debating on just plasti-dipping myself with them on there, but would prefer powder coating if I can avoid removing first.

Good info here. I had someone back into my 2017 a few weeks after I had it. And then by the time I got it in and out of the shop, I had a door ding that I didn't notice before the big dent got fixed. If you use one of those kits to fix the ding, how do you clean up/match the paint?

Nice. For the front and rear bumpers did you just leave them on and put some tap around the edges and spray right on?

Resurrecting this old thread to see if anyone has plastidipped their roof rails without removing? A friend recently removed his and said it wasn't as easy as the video shows.
