I have a Pioneer 8400nex on it's way with the Scosche kit, i'll be sure to post pictures when I get it installed. I looked at the Alpines, but the price difference is hard to swallow, especially since you don't get wireless Carplay and Android Auto in the Halo versions.

I have this head unit on the way for install into my 2016 SR5. Did you have to use the Pioneer GPS antenna? Or were you able to just use the lead? You mentioned finding a youtube video, do you happen to have a link?
