Welcome , the 4Runner tows very well, but I have not towed anything the size of a Miata on an open trailer, so no help there, the 4Runner is a body on frame (truck design) good luck with you search- Black Moomba

New to T4R and new to the truck.
Welcome , if you have no records as to when the last oil change was, diff's etc. then yes go ahead and change the oil, and other fluids small price to pay for knowing that everyone of your fluids are in good condition. Same as the plugs if no records then yes change those as well. all are easy...- Black Moomba
