Keeping going back and forth on options, but was curious if anyone has ran one of those new-ish mirrors that have Apple CarPlay and just take advantage of the factory aux-in? Amazon.com

After all these years the 4Runner still cleans up pretty nicely!

If it was me I would just cut back the edge of the top piece and make a new faceplate that is slightly taller so it still has a clean look. Also, throw a big handle on there. It helps opening a heavy drawer!

I run my spare on the passenger side since it allows me to run jerry cans on the driver side. By having them there they are very easy to fill and I just siphon them into my tank without ever needing to remove them.

Well consider me a buyer as soon as it is out!
