Is it possible to run it with out the sensor with out it throwing the code untill I can get time to replace it

It runs good until knock sensor gets thrown. Is it possible to run it with out the knock sensor until I can get time to replace it?

Its got quite a bit of hesitation. Foot to the floor and 1 km down the road I might be at 50 km an hour. Timing is good, my father is helping me trouble shoot it but he's mostly worked on domestic vehicles. Accelerates slower then a 4 cyl running on two with a plugged cat
