not the fuel injector. It was the exaust valve on number 6.

5 speed auto should run 180 to 200 no load. Up to 260 under load. Manual Tranny will tend to run even hoter by 5 or 10 degrees but cooler by 10 degrees under load.

Ok Guys.. I have a 94 runner with 160,000 and a 3.0. I've had these things with up to 300,000 and never encoutered a problem. I'm getting a tick from the right bank that closely resembles a valve out of adjustment. I put a stethascope to it and I get nothing from the cylinder head but a faint...
