Pretty sure the 2016 antennas are bigger, causing the interference you are having. I also have a 2016 but haven't installed my rack yet. Thinking I may just notch that rear bar if the interference isn't too much. I was half heartedly looking for a lower profile replacement the sharkfin, too

Did you use the last hole or a single rail to get around the antenna? Was your antenna the same as the one pictured above or is it bigger?
