I Love this place ! So my choices are 1) Black tape (always worked in my Volvo). Or 2) Pull the bulbs. I know it's rare for you guys to not find the exact fix, and a Lot of research has been done......

It's ALL Your Fault !! I bought an '02 4Runner Sport I found in the classifieds here....From Detroit ! I flew there last Saturday and picked up a stock Stellar Blue Pearl one with 196K on it and a little rust. Let the Fun Begin ! Waaaa Hooo !!!!!! :biggrin2:

Yup... I've been reading about solenoids and such. Lots of info on here.... I put a 350 Chevy in a Volvo 245 a few years back, T-5 stick, lots of Fun ! I'm thinking a stick shift might be in this 'Runner's future. Thanks so much for the input guys! I'll keep you posted.

Hi, So I've been lurking for awhile and found a 1993 4Runner for $1000. Auto transmission issues but the rest of the truck was really clean. Towed it to a local trans. shop and........wow. What should I do now ? It doesn't move. I'll try and do more research on here to find out common...
