Mount it to the rails and not the crossbars and it should be fine.

I just drove from Virginia to Washington towing my wife's car. 2700 miles later, my airbag light comes on. :sobbing: But she still running good with 222k miles under her belt.

I've gotten one from Jersey, one from Marion bumper2bumper and one off ebay (cheapest) Both Jersey and Marion are still going strong. the Ebay hub failed on me after 3 months. You get what you pay for.

Agree with you there. I doubt the VA Beach or Richmond area sees much snow.

I live in northern VA and hell yeah they use a salt mixture. I have to hit my truck with fluid film every year to make sure the rust doesn't get bad. But like everything else, if the owner took care of it you should be fine.
