I'd go with stainless. (Actually I did already)
Here are the Pro/Cons that I see:
Stainless:
-Does not Rust
-Scratches and other minor cosmetic damages can be buffed out
-Usually Costs alot more
-Polished Stainless looks like Chrome (Shiny Mirror type finish)
-Have to clean it more to keep...
Sorry! I don't have a digital camera. They do look the same as yours except I have a black 4 runner.
I debated for a while on getting black steps or to spring for the extra cash for stainless, then I found these on ebay for less than the price of most black painted steps and I jumped on it...
I just got some from the same guy on eBay. I bought them from his store for $150. Excellent deal for 304 stainless. I had them in 3 days.
They are Back Country which is one of the best brands out there. Not the crap from China you usually see at the price.
