Which one? Gaia and OnX are apps that can be had through your App Store. I purchased the InReach through a group buy here on T4R, and Icom is a dual-band radio I got from HRO. If you check HRO, you can usually get a used or open-box radio at a good price.

I use a combination of Gaia and OnX Hunt. OnX Hunt is excellent because it shows land ownership, ie. national forest, preserve, private...etc. I use Bluetooth on my Garmin Inreach out of the vehicle, and Bluetooth GPS from from my Icom ID-4100 in vehicle.

Try using the Brave internet browser for IOS. It’s shoots down trackers, ads, location requests, malware, JavaScript attacks (like what your experiencing). Future iterations of the browser should enable a feature that will award cryptocurrency for choosing to view ads, etc.

This is almost a requirement on the 200-series Land Cruiser’s. It’s been done plenty, and will likely make the process a ton easier than the bafoonery I got into with rachet straps. Be sure you DO NOT back those screws out beyond 2.5 turns. There’s nothing but sadness beyond 2.5 turns.

I carry my essentials in a cheap tool roll from Amazon. It has a space for 10 sockets, and all the essentials. It rolls up and tucks into the compartment on the passenger side.

I have to admit, there’s something attractive about being able to pry off and replace body panels as they get roughed up.

I have not considered the dimming function. That is interesting considering the AOB switches have a common ground. I assumed since the AOB were integrated into the normal function of the dash, they would behave like the rest of the circuit. That will certainly not be the case since my ground is...

Should be left side, second to bottom. It may be labeled as “panel.” Should be between 5-7 amps. There’s another fuse above it for the gauges. In theory, either of these could work, but I’m not too keen on piggybacking the gauge circuits.

I haven’t done it yet, but based on what I’ve seen the #2 fuse position with the add-a-circuit should accomplish the same thing.
