My last car was a '03 Infiniti G35 I'm an outdoor guy and I take my dog with me EVERYWHERE, so my current '04 4runner SR5 makes a lot more sense for me.

haha yes, i was one of these winners.

yep, it is a V6, and unless my owner's manual, dipstick notation, AND dealer are wrong, it does take Type IV tranny fluid.

In case anyone else wants to know, you pour in the new tranny fluid through the hole that the dipstick goes into. I paid 3.98/qt for 3 quarts of fluid. So it turned out to be a $12 mistake. :D
