Used our other Toyota yesterday, the TE had a bad odor, like in the old Seinfeld show where a valet stunk it up. Removed the cabin filter and found a mouse and nesting material. New filter and Lysol spray in the intake fixed it.

I get that on both of my Toyota's when I run the battery down too low to start. I think there is enough power for energize the relay, but with the load connected, there is not enough power and the relay disconnects, then tries again and again. I can let mine set 2 weeks and they still start...

Drive forward slowly and turn the steering wheel a little. Mine is slow to engage at times after not being used for a while. After it engages, shift it in and out a few times.
