    Tire advice with pics

I run Master craft 33 12.50 on my 88 without bj spacers. Only a 2" bl for my 3.4. No rubbing and look great. Wheel is 15x8 with 3.75 back space. Look and drive great on the street. Was so impressed with the tire I bought the 32 11. 50 for my Tacoma. I vote for 12.5 but have seen the Cooper...

Valve job or replace / rebuild engine?

You can get a long block here in Sacramento with 130k +miles for $1000 with a 6 month warranty. As in if it's a bad motor they will give you another used motor. I believe they can ship as well. From Rancho Cordova. I have bought a couple motors from them and worked out pretty good.

    Reality check?!? Header/clutch install...

I haven't done the header, but clutch job and rear main are easy and would save you over $400 bucks at least.. in labor costs. I always do as much as I can myself. After hearing some quotes the shops give out haha

Sucker does run like a new truck. Loving it so far. As for the body lift, I tried without it but had to do it anyway, went with the 2"bl. Might gateway get me some stripes like ol' white smoke there

Throwing a code... is it a head gasket issue?

I haven't tried it but I hear a "leak down test" is the best way to check hg. I have seen some do it yourself kits at the local auto parts stores. Or have a shop perform it.

    New Falken AT tire (A/T3W)

I currently have 32 11.50 falken wild peak a/t on my Tacoma. Had them for over 2 years with alot of highway driving. Still alot of tread and look great. Always did me good in mud and light snow. But I would not get them again after a 4' snow run. That much and they turn to snow slicks haha. Was...
