This is the other option but I like the Ultragauge much better (visually).

Years ago I bought an engine monitoring system from someone here that not only monitored the engine in real time connected to the odb2 port; it gave me the option to set alarms for too high, low, or whatever.
I can't remember the name of the person or the device. I picked up a used Nissan Titan...
Hi. Haven't posted in a while. I did a search but nothing turned up to my question about the best valve cover gaskets for the 3.4L V6.
Mine are leaking on an reman engine with just 5k miles. Needless to say I'm not happy about having to go back into the engine with so few miles on a basically...
An interesting look at how prevalent counterfeit parts are from non reputable sellers. Buyer beware. It has me wondering if I have some cheap Chinese parts on my 01.

A lot of good info in this thread. I can tell you my personal experience going from the 225/65/16 (someone had installed) on my 01 T4R to 17" 2018 265/70/17 T4R off road wheels. The speedo read 89 mph when I was doing 80. I'm in the Southwest; we do that here. When I found a set of 2018 4Runner...
The prices are trending up for most year 3rd gens.
Toyota 4Runner Price Trends - CarGurus
I like a lot about the 3rd gens but my favorite thing is they are worth fixing (unless the frame is shot). I had to drop a new long block in my 01 last year and did all the brakes and rear axle...
Also check tie rods and ball joints for any play.
I chased an issue like this and it ended up being a poor balancing job on the front tires. I also had a pull to the right that didn't go away after getting the tires rebalanced so I thought I needed a front wheel alignment. Then a set of new...
