That is normal. Shift your trans into park. Both of my 4Runners do this if I don't.

I didn't have any that were even close to tight. My passenger side exhaust were .001 out of spec on the loose side @ 20 degrees Fahrenheit. When i went to pull the shims and see what size shims i needed to order it had warmed up to 50 degrees and everything shrunk into spec. Most of the valves...

Ah crap, I better climb under there and take a better look at things. I really don't think it would take that long to swap out. Disconnect all the linkage, drive lines, electrical, crossmember, and you could probably get away with just pulling the tranny back without dropping it to the ground

It sounds like it sheared the flexplate around where it bolts to the crank. They won't be able to start it as there's nothing for the starter to engage. I'm wondering if the noise I'm hearing on mine is a cracked flexplate waiting for this to happen.... Did he say there was any noise prior to...

Not the whole weight of the vehicle. All it takes is a small snag on a heat shield or anything slightly lower than the frame.

I don't think that is any part of an oil seal that you pulled out. I would bet it's either your oil pan, rear main seal or possibly even a valve cover leaking. I would try putting a socket on the oil pan bolts just making sure they are snug, and switch back to 10-30.

The sway bar isn't connected to the motor. It shouldn't be causing the motor to move unless it is really bent and hitting some part of the transmission or oil pan

There really shouldn't be any way your engine should move when lifted from the frame. I worked at a tire shop for 8 years and I've seen my share of noobs not watch carefully enough where they put the lift arms. If they lifted off the exhaust, yes it would lift the motor before the actual vehicle...

I'm betting that one of the "lube techs" accidentally lifted off your exhaust.
