I had a 03 MDX, I would definitely not recommand the MDX. Its is very poorly built compare to the 4Runner. Lots of minor problems every where. The tranny issue was fix when they redesign the 5 speed gearbox in 03, but it is still a light duty tranny, not like the one in the 4runner. Bottom line...
