Did you end up leaving them in? Either of you have any issues? I was looking at some different options as well, and the H11 is cheaper than getting a set of bright H16's.

I believe that Limited and SR5 have have the pre-cut hole in the bumper, and Trails don't. Pic isn't mine, but this is what it looks like.

Has anyone else with a Limited rerouted the exhaust out the side? I've searched but haven't been able to find anything. Guessing we're all thinking the same thing with the pre-cut hole in the back of the bumper...

My 2010 LE has the same issue - I thought the passenger door speaker was blown but it's just the rattle when the volume is high. Any other suggestions out there? mugoo - what did the dealer do for you?

I've been using a couple dollar vent mount in my last three vehicles. It's sturdy and convenient if you need to mess with it while driving. I'll post a pic later... I attached some pics. I currently have the charger plugged into the glove compartment, but plan on hard-wiring it when I have time.

Wow, that sounds like quite an experience. Makes me feel a little better - haha. I read what I could find before starting, but I've obviously learned a lot more in this thread. After I get the current wiring mess fixed I'll have lots of good options to try. Will post an update once I get...

I need to learn how to solder. I had the clips and electrical tape on, but took everything apart to troubleshoot again before I took the picture. Nothing else is connected to the orange - that's just the wire where it accidentally got cut. Thank you as well.

I took everything apart again tonight and I think I may have found the problem. I cut the cover up higher and it looks like the orange wire accidentally got cut somewhere along the way. The wires to the left were for the detector, which I disconnected. I'm probably just going to take it...

I had the TSB done for the cat parts on my 07 and it didn't make a difference when driving with the back windows down. I had the exhaust routed out the side and the smell went away.
