Thanks. I got it off by doing exactly as you said. I put the mirror all the way up. I used a big flat head to just move the white part away from the mount. Then I went back to the car and tilt of the mirror back to a normal position, and then just gently pulled it away and it came off.

Does anyone have instructions on how to replace the door mirror glass driver side?
I have a 2006 sport v6.
I found this string but it's for 2001 so I think it's different than gen4.
Thoughts?

Here's the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 coolant instructions with pic.
There's 2 engine block plugs but it says to loosen them, not remove them, which seems to imply that forces air to push the coolant back to the reservoir.
Thoughts?
