I feel better Had the same thing happen. Activated 4Lo just to work the system on dry pavement. Experienced the same lurching mentioned here. I was a little worried at first, but I am glad this is normal. Thanks for the info everybody!

Also, after unplugging the abs and vsc harnesses from under the hood, the vsc trac, trac off, and skid lights still did not come on.

Do I have a problem? Guys I think I have the opposite problem than most people are experiencing with the VSC system. I have no skid warning, VSC Trac, or VSC off indicator lights come on with the key in the on position. They have never come on since I have had the 4runner. I do get the ABS...
