    List your MPG here please

19 city and 22 highway. Stock except Revo2 tires. After 7500 miles I've found, the dashboard MPG nearly spot-on with my calculations at fillups.

    Infant seats in 4Runner

You're right, there are only LATCH connectors for the outside rear seats. However, I don't see any problem using the LATCH connectors to install a carseat in the middle position. In a side-impact collision, having the carseat in the middle position is the safest. Before the birth of our...

The sliding deck is sitting in my garage. PM me if you're interested.

Replaced Sliding Cargo Tray with 3rd Row Seats

Thanks, IceNomad. I had high hopes for things fitting more easily, but I'm very pleased with how things turned out.

    seats...and 3rd row seats

Drilling out the holes for the 3rd row install was the easy. If I had to order the parts from Toyota, I probably would not do it because of the price. I just lucked out that another member was selling his same-color 3rd row at a decent price. My plan had been to wait several years and attempt...

Replaced Sliding Cargo Tray with 3rd Row Seats

I didn't mess at all with the 3rd row airbags. The 3rd row seating will only be used occasionally, and I figured that any passengers will still be safe. Plus, it's not like my other vehicles have all the special airbag coverage that the 4Runner has, and I'm ok driving them with passengers and...

Replaced Sliding Cargo Tray with 3rd Row Seats

I really liked the sliding cargo tray when I bought my 4Runner, but with two carseats in the 2nd row, we quickly ran out of room to transport adults. So, I replaced the sliding cargo tray with 3rd row seats. The seats, seatbelts, and trim were purchased from IceNomad (thanks!). We also...

    Infant seats in 4Runner

While I haven't tried it, the center position has a seatbelt and LATCH connectors so you should be able to put any type of kid seat there.

    Infant seats in 4Runner

I'm 6'3" also. I probably have the driver's seat around the middle of it's front-back travel for my normal driving position, and with the infant carseat behind it, there is still about 4 inches of space between the seat and the carseat. Here is a picture that shows it:

Nope, didn't have any problems using the LATCH on the Brittax or on the Chicco infant seat base. I'm not quite sure what the problem could be.

    Fog Lights

Thanks. They were about $40 cheaper there.

    Fog Lights

Has anyone replaced their stock fog lights? I ask because I am looking to purchase a replacement fog light assembly as mine was damaged in a careless garage accident. Or, if you point me to a good place to buy the part. Thanks

    Sliding Cargo Deck

It does work well as a baby changing table--have used it a lot for my 2 1/2 year old and my 5 month old. Other than that, I haven't found the sliding tray very useful. Once the kids are a little older, I plan on removing the sliding tray and installing third row seats.

    Confused About VSC Options

All models have Hill Start Assist Control. The SR5 has Downhill Assist Control, but the Trail has the more variable Crawl Control instead.
