2010 Limited 143,000 miles. Driver side stop light not working. Bulb must be bad. Nope bulb is good. What then. Clean contacts and still not working. Bend contacts on bulb holder out a little more and it works fine. XM radio been bad for years now but who cares about that. Not me.

Switch the right with the left and see what happens. Possible defect in the bulb.Did you twist it in all the way. There's definitely some thing wrong with that pattern.

From what I understand they don't sell them in this country. They only go in new cars made in Japan.

Clean the windshield the best you can and then put a coat of car wax on it. I use MEGUIARS GOLD CLASS on mine. You can't even hear the wipers,they wipe the water off better and the windshield is the clearest it has ever been.

Pull straight forward. It helps to have 2 people,one on each side. Give it a good hard yank. Those claws can fit pretty tight.

We had one in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am doing the exact same thing. It would do it intermittently. It was the motor itself bad.

I agree. A windshield can get cracked in a blink of the eye. You can replaced it 2 or 3 times for what the Toyota windshield will cost.

Is your glass the original or has it ever been replaced. Our 06 shattered using the defroster.The replacement (not a Toyota glass) is curved slightly different and the wiper won't wipe it clean like the original did. I even had to adjust the window trim at the bottom to make it fit better.

Walmart ones work good for me. Have used some from Advanced Auto when Walmart didn't have a particular one. Walmart usually has the best price but when I have to buy from Advanced I search for discount coupons. Without the discount coupons you pay a lot more.
