Tpirman- do you think on the bottom where the silver plastic, you could take those pieces off and cut/work the leather to fit under the plastic, then replace plastic to make it more factory.

The Tundras are great trucks. I had an 08 double cab 4x4 a couple vehicles ago and never had any trouble with it and got pretty decent money when I traded it in. I sure miss the bed of a truck a couple times a month, but the smaller size and better gas mileage help me get over it faster.

Thanks for the input so far, not to worried bout the mpg or the fact that our 4runners are as aerodynamic as a brick, just the fact that our modded vehicles may be less reliable than a stock vehicle on long distance trips.

When you open each of the doors there is a single screw and in each fender well there is one or two plastic retainers to remove. Then just pull.
