Squealed my way over to the shop and dropped it off for some minor surgery today :Cry:. Pilot bearing in the clutch started to crap out on me and it was screeching insanely loud. Not sure what the other t4r is there for but he had a bunch of old CJ's, XJ's and Broncos parked around the place.

Haven't done much work to it lately, but I did load up the kayaks for a little trip up the bayou this weekend. The roll down rear window made hauling two yaks super convenient.

Still in clean up mode. When I bought it, the rims were a little... salty. Chipped, sanded and plastidipped them in Gunmetal Grey, which looks like primer to me. It's just a band-aid until I get some actual paint on them, but they turned out alright for now. Also plastidipped the door...

Lol, I bought the 4runner for exactly the opposite reason. The 62 has been my project/daily driver for the last 18 months and I need something that I can take on the interstate more often, but also go camping and run some trails in. Just brought this lil guy home on Monday. '99 sr5, 50k on the engine, 244k overall, 5 speed manual, factory rear locker. Pretty much the exact thing I've been looking for for about 2 years now. The FJ62 is currently for sale here.
