    Calling All 2014 SR5 Premiums

Hi SoCal4Run, I tried to PM you, but not sure if it went. Anyway... My 2014 SR5 Premium 4X4 has: Driver side: Green/White Passenger side: Orange/White Orange? That's what it look like to me - maybe it's red Brian

    Montana!

Woods Bay (south of Bigfork) - just stumbled on this thread - didn't know it existed (guess it barely does). Hope my fellow Montanans are well. I picked up a Red '14 SR5 4x4 Premium a couple of months ago and love it. Already put 4K miles on it, about half on dirt and gravel, but I don't know...

    hello noob from ny

Man, those black beauties are sharp! I went with red since it blends better with Utah dirt and may not get quite as hot when parked out in the desert while I'm hiking,. But when they're clean, the black definitely has a lot of class. Congrats on your purchase.

Thanks! I will be trying to control myself for a bit - don't want to monopolize this thread. It's just that a new 4Runner combined with a photo nut in Montana can make for a troubling forum post whore. It's funny, the guys on the photo forum don't care too much for "car pictures". :ohwell:

About 60 miles south of my home in Montana is the National Bison Range - a good sized refuge with a lot of wildlife that can be viewed from a 17 mile dirt road y wife and I visit often to "shoot" the animals and scenery. Some days are better than others, but we always see something (bears...

Messing around some back roads in Montana in the still pretty new SR5. I put some Trail running boards on despite website warnings against fit (they fit fine). Will have to stay mostly stock for now for lack of $$$, but will upgrade tires someday - maybe wheels too. My wife and I are amateur...

    SR5 premium vs limited

Shawk00 - true the wheels can be swapped. I didn't have the money for a Limited anyway, but I was glad the SR5 didn't come with 20's. BTW, Caught a mistake in my post - the OTD cost was 35,350, not 39,350. 39+ would not be a fair price (duh me).

    SR5 premium vs limited

Limited = 20" wheels, no? That made a difference to me. My recent SR5 Premium from Kalispell with a couple hundred in options was $39,350 OTD. I thought it was fair.

    First time owner/long time creeper!

Congrats - good choice! I picked up a red one (with sand beige) last weekend and love the hell out of it already. Blue was out second choice, but the dirt we plan to get on it is more reddish, so.... The OEM cargo mat seems pretty good, and looking at the WT on line I can't see much of a...

    Got one in NW Montana

If it matters to anyone, I answered my own question about 2010-2014 Trail running boards fitting the 2014 SR5 - they do, as I found out here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/164198-2014-4runner-sr5-running-boards-4.html so I ordered them from Amazon - turned out to be the cheapest...

    Got one in NW Montana

Yeah, the obligatory "new truck" shot. Today we took her over Jocko pass - real dry and real dusty - and gave her good dust bath - made her look three years old and took the shine off the rubber. Had to rinse her of course, but now she's been officially baptized with some gravel and dirt. Never...

    Got one in NW Montana

Greetings. I've been reading on the forum for a few weeks while waiting on delivery of my first 4Runner. Lots of great stuff here and a bunch of great contributors from what I've seen. I traded in an '05 Escape that took me all over the west and on a lot of trails in Utah, but while I pushed it...
