Might be easier to get a bell Crank parts kit from AutoZone or Oreillys and just replace the bell cranks. No messing with the easy out and breaking it off, no extra trips to the hardware store trying to find the right bolts. Probably about $30.

If the backing plates are rusted significantly, chances are the axle housing is as well. If your going all out, you may consider finding a rust free rear end housing from a salvage yard, EBay, etc, including axles/backing plates. Might not be much more than just new backing plates from Toyota

Sounds like your issue is likely due to a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor. Dirty, improperly seated, or going bad. At very low speed, an all ready weak signal from the wheel speed sensors tells the abs computer that wheel is locked, so it pulses the brakes. Pull your ABS codes, that may point...

My 265/70/17 in a tundra split 5 spoke wheel fits fine. And, it replaced a 20yo original spare that I didn't trust to hold together on the road

I don't think its all of the dash bulbs that are a problem. Just the ones for the gear select indicator lights can't be LED's

Yep, that’s the one. I don’t remember the details of jumpering and reading the flashes on the dash lights. But you can search, and should find plenty of info here. Also search led dash lights and VSC light on.
