Just drove down from CO to AZ last week. Hit a huge blizzard about 25 miles north of Los Vegas, NM. The wind literally blew me sideways at 40 mph. I remained calm and rode it out for a while, then managed to land it in the median. It was a lot of fun while it lasted.

I have a 2wd, 3.4 I tow a 24' boat, which is about 6000 lbs uphill in the AZ heat. I havent had any issues. I get terrible gas mileage but it does the job. PS: pulling the boat out of the water is always a scene though Good Luck on your trip
