    Aries Grill/Brush Guard

Hey folks, I just bought this Aries brush guard. I've had issues getting the bumper mounting bolts off (5 of them came off, but the top one on the driver's side is being a pain). I was going to take my 4Runner in for the 30k mile service this week anyway so I'm going to ask them to get the last...

Looking for advice (+ pic request)

Thanks for the kindness. I bought all of the OEM accessories through trdparts4u.com. As best I can tell, the site is through a Toyota dealer parts department in Dallas. My only complaint with them is that their order processing was a little slow, but they were always very responsive and helpful...

Looking for advice (+ pic request)

I'm pretty new here as well, and I'm in my first 4R. Here is a link to mine after I put the OEM ones on. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/828053-post15.html edit: it had been a while since I had posted and I forgot I put that pic in my sig, so, uhhh, just see below...

    Newbie with running board question

Ok, I finally had time to install the running boards and mud flaps yesterday. I'm pretty happy with them so far. One question I have is on the OEM Running Boards, should it have come with a rubber 'shield' (for lack of a better word) that hides the brackets? You can kind of see in the picture...

    Bug/stone deflector

I put this one on my 2011 SR5. Amazon.com: Auto Ventshade 25053 Bugflector II Hood Shield for Toyota 4Runner: Automotive Including unpackaging, it took 5 minutes, and 2 of those minutes included reading the instructions again because I couldn't believe how easy it was (I thought i had to be...

    Newbie with running board question

Chet. Thanks for the link. If I don't like the oem ones or can't get them to fit correctly, I really like how yours look and will probably order them.... Or black steel craft nerf bars.

    Newbie with running board question

Everyone, thanks for the feedback. I'll have to admit that I didn't know what sliders were when I opened this thread and created the poll. This is really the first truck or SUV I've had that I will do anything to and was only familiar with the two options I listed. I've had a Nissan Xterra that...

    Newbie with running board question

Thanks for the responses. Does anyone have any experience installing nerf bars with mud flaps? I've looked through the link WIT4R provided and see that the OEM running boards can be adjusted from front to back, can any aftermarket boards or nerf bars do the same?

    Newbie with running board question

Greetings all. I just purchased my first 4Runner (a black SR5 with tan leather) on Saturday (July 9th) and have been actively searching through these forums and online part stores ever since. I have to say that I haven't been this excited about a new car in a long time. Keeping in mind that...
