I've been having this problem for a few years now too, it seems to only happen during warm weather. I've had to keep tapping the close button once it gets close to the air deflector to get it to inch closed. I'll try cleaning the tracks, applying graphite, and holding the close button for 30...
From what I've been reading, a positive displacement supercharger does much better things for low end torque than a turbo. My vote is for an engine between 2.5-3.0 liters w/ a supercharger.
After off-roading for a bit, my front suspension starts making noise, the best way to describe is is like a dog barking. Any ideas what could be causing it?
It's not the shocks, those have been replaced with Bilstein 6112s and it still does it. Do I have osmething that needs to be lubed...
I'd be all in, especially if you live/travel somewhere at higher altitudes. You lose ~3% of power for every 1,000' of elevation, I live at 6,000' so my engine is running at 18% less than at sea level. A turbo would help overcome that.
Not as high as advertised
I had my 6112s preset for a 2" lift, the retailer set them at 6/4 driver/passenger just like Bilstein said. Both sides lifted 1.5" and the driver's side is still 0.5" lower than the passenger. I'll probably change the driver to 7.
