Pardon the thread bump - again, does anyone have part #69040-35150 or a lead on a replacement? :bump:

Well, it isn't the actuator - it's the assembly. Specifically, part #69040-35150: 69040-35150 Genuine Toyota Front Door Lock Assembly, Left Anyone have any leads or ideas?

Yeah, I've been running into issues finding it too and was wondering if they weren't in production anymore. And I agree - it is NOT fun messing around in the door! If that part Riceye noted doesn't fit the bill I may take you up on that door... :phone: :thanks:

Death of an electromagnetic door lock?

Spring could def be the issue - I was chatting w/ a mechanic when I was working in Maine last season and while my door was a busted push rod (lock is still an issue though: '97 SR5 3rd Gen power lock parts query) he said he's occasionally seen the spring be a problem after a decade or two. '97 SR5 3rd Gen power lock parts query

Hello all! I have a '97 SR5 - last summer the push rod and internals in the driver's door finally gave up the ghost and the handle wouldn't open from the inside. I got that sorted before winter but my mechanic found most of the assembly including the lock solenoid was worn out. He got some...

Ditto! Just the rear passenger cap, though; plow nipped my board the other day; snapped it right off! :frusty:

Wish I did; how are you with a welding torch? I had trouble getting brackets for my '97 SR5, but my local mechanic took one look and in less than a day cut and fit a home-made set that works like a charm! ...now if I could just find a black passenger rb end cap to replace the one a plow nipped...

Here's my '97 from two days ago, doing it's best snowplow impersonation  Nice thing about pushing through the drifts is you get bright new wheel rims; not a scratch on 'em!

You wouldn't happen to have more than one, would you? Joined the forums today for this exact issue; snowplow clipped the rear passenger running board cap on my '97 and I can't find a replacement easily
