Canadian shaft replacement here.
Same thing, steering wheel was out a few degress after new one put in.
Merchanic did not note or match mark old /new.
Three adjustments or "teeth" movements it is now straight.
Told the mechanic it was unacceptable, NO alignment, NO tie rod adjustments.
So...
