My 2001 CA-spec has the canister above the spare. I think I may have fixed my evap codes though without replacing it. I had the other valves in the setup replaced waaaay back when I kicked these codes under extended warranty. Wouldn't you know that the codes came back when the warranty was...

Print off those comps, and then ask for a reasonable increase over these to account for your lack of rust. Explain how you came to the number and go from there...

I don't think the issue is with the bulbs leaking, but the housing. The bulbs are unlikely to leak regardless of their source (halogen or LED). As to value of LED versus Halogen (or versus HID for that matter), that's a topic for another thread...
