    To Drain systems or fill

The drain & fill rather than flush recommendation is really for the transmission. If it hasn't been changed forever, you don't even want to drain it....just let it be. I would think at 160,000 miles it would be ok to drain and fill. You could save the old fluid and if the trans starts...

Labor Day '26 Online Toyota Parts Sale Until 9/7

I don't use the categories at all and have never had a problem. I order by vehicle and then search the part or just the part number. Typically, I verify part number from two sources if I have any question at all. This is the site I use to find part numbers if I'm having a problem. I see they...

    2007 sport AC problem

I think that AC button flashing should be setting a code. I believe there is a way to read it without a code reader or you could use something like a Bluedriver. Here is the instructions for entering A/C diagnostic mode.

'08 not holding alignment after ft end rebuild

All I have to offer is the lift will change the geometry so you can't just go with factory settings. Someone who is experienced enough to understand the impact is required. Loose, worn or sloppy suspension components will cause the alignment to wander. Get under it and have someone turn the...

    Losing coolant

You may foul the oxygen sensors but that would probably be the least of your worries.

    Losing coolant

Nope - keep the engine coolant filled up and wait for the miss or the crank no start.

    Losing coolant

If coolant is not observed, you can look for a piston top that appears to be "cleaner" than the other 5. Can also pressurize your coolant system overnight and then check for visible coolant in the morning.

Help - Can't fill gas tank

What is that blue thing in the pic? I had a problem with my third gen and it was a cap from an injector cleaner bottle that had gotten into the fuel fill hose. I cleared it by taking the hose off the tank.

    Creaking Sound Frontend - Diagnosing

Sorting out suspension noise can be difficult. First step is to get under it and push/pull components to see if anything is moving. On your age vehicle, it could easily be a worn bushing which would not move much. I have a Steelman Chassis Ear2 (wired version) that I hook up to trace down the...

    Starter engages but no crank

I would guess bad starter. Give it a couple of whacks on the side of the motor with a heavy wrench and see it if goes. If not, do a voltage drop test on the power wire going to the starter.
